What is EmSAT?

EmSAT Subjects
EmSAT Arabic
A standard online test that aims to measure the extent to which students have reading comprehension and writing skills in Arabic upon completion. The general education stage, and before joining higher education institutions – twelfth grade students, or its equivalent in foreign programs. The test is based on the national standards for teaching the Arabic language in the country and its evaluation.
EmSAT English
The EmSAT English Achieve gauges a test-taker’s readiness for English-medium college or university studies. This computer-based exam comprises eight major sections – Grammar, Vocabulary, Sentence Builder, Paragraph Builder, Close Reading, Extended Reading, Single-Question Reading, and Writing. Most of the test’s sections, questions, and options undergo randomization.
EmSAT Mathematics
EmSAT Achieve Math assesses the test taker’s preparedness for college or university-level mathematics studies. This computer-based examination randomizes its test sections, questions, and options. Additionally, the computer manages test timing, enabling test-takers to track their remaining time as they progress through the exam.
EmSAT Physics
EmSAT Achieve Physics evaluates the proficiency of test takers in Physics and assesses their college readiness. EmSAT Achieve Physics comprises five primary domains: (1) Mechanics; (2) Electromagnetism; (3) Waves and Optics; (4) Modern Physics; and (5) Thermal Physics. The exam adapts to the individual test taker, tailoring the content and difficulty based on their specific abilities.
EmSAT Chemistry
EmSAT Achieve Chemistry evaluates the test taker’s readiness for college or university-level chemistry studies. This computer-based exam randomizes test sections, questions, and options. The exam adapts to the individual test taker by customizing the content and difficulty of the questions.
EmSAT Biology
EmSAT Biology Achieve measures test taker proficiency in Biology and determines their readiness for college. EmSAT Biology Achieve has four major sections: (1) From molecules to living organisms – Structure and function; (2) Heredity and genetic technology; (3) Evolution and Diversity of Life; (4) Ecology – Interdependence, energy, and dynamics.
EmSAT Computer Science
The EmSAT Achieve Computer Science test, lasting for 150 minutes, evaluates test takers’ proficiency in Computer Science and determines their college readiness. It consists of two main sections: Computer Science Theory and Problem Solving, in addition to Programming Practices. Transitioning between sections, questions, and options, the test software randomizes and times each element. Throughout the timed computerized test, test takers maintain visibility of the test clock, facilitating effective time management.
